Why buy a BMX bike ?

We realize choosing the right bike for the rider in your life can be an overwhelming task. What size? What type of riding are they going to do? What's the difference? How much should I spend? We offer both balance and pedal options. Balance bikes, or push bikes, are perfect for little ones just starting to roll, but aren't ready to pedal. 12" pedal bikes are the smallest size, and provide the smallest riders the chance to start pedaling into the BMX experience. 12 inch bike are normally fit the average sized 4 year old or younger.Many kids start using balance bikes as soon as they can walk.
14" BMX bikes and 16" BMX bikes
For young riders from the best brands in BMX. These scaled-down BMX machines are sized just-right for smaller bodies, and are proportion to ride just like their bigger counterparts. 16 inch bike are used by riders up to 46” in many cases.
The perfect size for riders not quite ready to move up to a 20", but still looking for more size and stability than the smaller wheels provide. Many of the 18 inch bikes are made to be used pretty aggressively and can fit riders up to 60” in height if being used for jumping and trick riding.

22” Bikes / 24” Bikes / 26” Bikes
For bigger riders or those looking for more speed and stability, Albe's offers big-wheeled bikes from 22" BMX bikes, which are growing rapidly in popularity, to 24" cruisers that serve dual-duty for hardcore BMX riding and riding around town, to throw-back style 26" BMX bikes which offer a little of everything for BMX and plenty of size and comfort. We even have 26" Dirt Jump Bikes, which provide BMX feels on a bigger, smoother platform with disc brakes and suspension forks for going big on all terrains.
A more recent addition to the line-up at Albe's are Retro BMX bikes, both true-to-form reproductions of original 1970s and 80s bikes, to stylized modern versions that look the part, but with modern specs. Another variation of the retro movement are 26 inch, 27.5 inch and 29 inch bikes that have a throwback vibe and classic look, but on an up-sized chassis and wheels for the ultimate cruising experience.
