The BSD Nasa Rim is built from 6066 T6 aluminum which is said to be much stronger than the 6061 aluminum used on many other BMX rims on the market. Between the better grade of alloy and BSD's design the Nasa rim is stronger both laterally and radially than other BMX rims.
