River Bends Park Opening Day

We received an e-mail from the fine people that run the River Bends skate park (near Auburn and Ryan in Shelby TWP.) that the opening day for the season is April 1st. read below what they had to say:

River Bends Skate Park will be open starting April 1st. The rules are the same. Mon, Wed, Fri and Saturday-woodpushers and skaters. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday are BMX only. There is still a mandatory helmet rule in effect. The Parks and Rec. Committee is still going to allow me to keep the park open until dark as long as I keep an eye on the helmet use issue. If we can't keep the helmet rule followed the city will just cut down the hours to the time that the park is attended (9 am to 5:30pm.)
