Ron Thomas recently rebuilt his bike so we figured we'd do a quick bike check. My guess you'll either love or HATE his bike as it doesn't follow the popular trends. If you are hatin' just remember that Ron is probably better than you.

rear wheel- profile lhd mini cassett with 10 tooth driver and ti axle laced to a sun big city 36h

sprocket- titanium profile imp 30 tooth
pedals- primo gas pedals
seat and post- shaddow
clamp- profile
brakes- hombres
lever- half tech 77 half odyssey (the two finger one)
stem- odyssey elementary
bars- mutiny chicago
grip- odi longnecks for life
barends- kink
mods- I welded gyro tabs on it beacuse of the internal headset, oyu cant just put a gyro on. I run a gyro gtx beacuse I have to so my gyro doesnt rub the top bearing cup when. I took the lever part of an odyssey brake lever and put it on a tech 77 body. All I had to do to get that to work was drill out the tech 77 a bit. It works great. And I painted my forks to match the bars.
I want to thank odyssey, system, and most of all Albes. You guys rule!!

I just got some more updates from the guys at Kink about the SMASH UP DERBY. Looks like it's going to be a big 3 day party. I'm told one of the local hang out spots even has a mechanical bull. YEEE HAWWW!!!
.Here's the final rundown of what companies are involved in the demo and who's driving the cars. This thing is going to be fun as hell!
