Monday nights in Detroit just got a whole lot better

finally, something to do besides watching Matlock re-runs on Monday night.  it was only a matter of time...you knew it & we knew it, too.  i'm talking about the fact that we, the invincible, unstoppable, all mighty Albe's now have our own special night set aside to entertain the crowds at the coolest rock venue in Detroit!  of course i'm speaking of the legendary Magic Stick. 

they will thrill the pants off you every other night of the week with shows like We Are Scientists (10/13)...Lucero (11/4)...Alexisonfire (11/5)...Lawrence Arms (11/10) just to name a tiny slice of their line up but when they can't get it done, which is apparently every Monday, they turn the place over to us to play the latest BMX and skateboard videos.  there's DJ's spinning cool music and cheap booze prices.  the downstairs level is red hot as well with a whole other thing going down.  if you live in the Detroit metro area you obviously know of this place so get your crew together and head out each and every Monday from now 'til we tell you to stop. if you're new to the scene, it's located on Woodward Avenue in the heart of the city.  oh yeah...two rules, it's 18 & up and it's not a sausage festival so bring some pretty girls.   check here for all the official  stuff.
