drive for 2 days for $1000??

Kris Marcum just called me from Toledo, OH. to inform me he was heading to California. Seems Kris was offered $1000 by a friend to drive the car in the photo above from the Cleveland OH. to California. The best part is he still needs to be to work on Monday morning. So what it works down to is he need to drive 2600 miles then fly back 2600 miles in a 55 hour time span and then go to work. Would you try to pull this feat of for $1000???

As of 5:00 pm Eastern standard time on 10/16/04. Kris is 150 miles east of Cheynne Wy. Kris will be spending the night in Salt Lake City UT. tonight with fellow Albe's Rider Kenny Sanders.

As of 10:00 pm Eastern standard time on 10/17/04 Kris is 150 miles east of Reno, NV. He spent most of today hanging out in SLC UT. With Kenny and is now going to finish the trip out tonight. The only thing keeping him awake is the two new CDs he bought, Pat Benatar and Def Leopard. Well Kris made it home on Monday (10/18/04) after running into a few problems late last night. The road between Reno and Sacramento Ca. was closed due to icy conditions. Kris was held up for a couple hours but still made it to the drop off point only a few hours late. When i talked to him today i asked if it was worth it and he said "ask me in a month when i wake up from my nap"
