Demolition Derby trip update # 1

Kris Marcum, Joey Greenwald, Mat Sparks, Flip, and Allen Smalls with our baks towards Detroit.

Well after Marcum and Joey showed up at Albe's on Sat at about 3 and after a few hours of working on derby car parts we loaded up the van, met up with Alen Smalls and were off to pick up Mat Sparks.

After about an hour of waiting on Sparks (Sparks Time) we were ready for the road. Sparks lives 15 mins from the boarder of Canada so we were ready to take our chances. we we really worried we were not going to get into Canada as Marcum has an outstanding $300 parking ticket there. We didn't care and we trucked right through the boarder with no problems. The plan was to drive for a few hours the Niagara Falls and stay the night however as soon as we got into Windsor that plan was shot to hell. There was way too many people out and it looked like they were having a good time. We have a hard time ignoring a good time so we parks the van and entered the first shady club we could find. Once inside fun was had bay all and EVERYBODY with us on the trip could get in the club legally as the drinking age in Canada is only 19. Somehow we entered some sort of club that was filled with girls that were about to get married. there were probably 5 brides to be and all their friends there for bachlorett partys. The crew got loose and a few got their dance on many fun photos were shot. The most funny part of the night though was while we were in a club Sparks snuck up behind Smalls and "Pants" him but good. Shorts and boxers all the way to the ground around his ankes in a club full of people. It happened so fast that it too a few seconds for Smalls to realize what happened and pull his pants up. After that the club started to wind down so we may our way back to the van and decided to drive on to Niagara. That idea was great for about 1/2 hour when we were WAYYY to tired to drive.

20 min into the trip and we have already stopped to get loose.

Somehow Marcum always ends up with the hottest girl in the club.

Allen Smalls was a dancing Machine at each club we went to.

Sparks looks like he's enjoying this WAYYY to much.

I got a little bit of extra sleep because i skipped club 3. I woke up at 4am at the rest area and it was hot and cramped in the van. I woke up and went inside the place for the bathroom. I then just laid down on the pavement with a blanket and got bit by mosquitoes 50 times. i got fed up with that so i told flipper to go to sleep in the back of the van i would just drive. So i drove. i only fell asleep a few times but we did make it to Niagara falls in one peice.

6am and 2 hours sleep

I am still running on my 3 hours of bad sleep. So we eat some denny's and find a hotel... we had to wait for our hotel room to open up so we rode bikes around and down to the falls. We gawked and joey took some pictures. We rode across a barrier make of parking blocks and that was pretty fun. The falls are really cool and we wanted to make bets about surviving rapids. Then we rode back UP the hill to the hotel and checked in. its a nice room with a really funny looking porno set style shower. We got changed into shorts and went to use the hottub and pool. that was refreshing. Then we came back to the room and got ready for the skatepark session.

We entered our hotel room to find the hotel had messed up and gave us keys to somebody elses room. The good news is it was TOM FROM MYSPACE's room.

Flip fakie....that sounds way cooler than it really is.

By the time we left there were tons of locals that had been there. It was a really good session. Most of the highlights have pictures but ones that dont are sparks double whipping the hip and flairing the quarter rreally high, Smalls did a good downside whip, Joey did a truck to smith to kickflip, locals going off, skateboarders getting in the way, and i did a gap transfer. we are getting suited up right now to go swim again, then we are off to wherever we are off to.
