Demolition Derby trip update # 3

Allister Whitton's girl likes us better (probably not)

So (Tuesday) we all woke up around 10:30 am and took showers and such. we were suppose to meet everyone in the parking lot of the hotel around 11ish but we we're all on sparks time and got out around 11:30.

We headed to the track in canadaville(its called cananaqua or something wierd). We go there right as the drivers meeting started. That ment about that about 20 of the top pro's were in that thing. If dave mirra would have dropped a bomb on that winnabego,there would have been no xgames. anyways, we all baked in the sun as flip and the rest of the talent picked their cars. Everyone piled out and we got car #7 a pontiac bonneville. 3.8 liter v6. we are really stoked on the car. so we headed to wal mart to get supplies. We all decided that if we were some young BMX kid working at a wal mart and gary young,allistar whitton,seth kimbrough,allan cooke and joey greenwald walked in,we'd go nuts. we got all 80$ of our supplies and sat down and ate the worst food ever. We offered to pick up allan cookes $3 tab at the little diner after he picked up our $400 one the night before, he declined, oh well. From wal mart we were off to the track again to paint our cars. When we got back a few were already underway. The albes car destroys all, we have a body kit,NOS,sub wolfers, a wing,a badass dare / Albe's logo,TG stickers,a huge exhuast.We spared no expenses. its great. All the cars look AMAZING. There was everything from Seth Kimbrough's "owl of death" to steve crandals preganat manakin(spelling?). Anyways. we spent about 7 hours on the car making them look great and then the rain started. so we covered ours with plastic and decided to head out to the hotel.

The subs hit so hard is blew our windows out.

we got there and everyone was talking about sessioning the warehouse right next to kink. We got everything together and headed to the place. It was amazing. Big thanks goes out to ben and tounge for hooking us up and letting us ride. I had seen this place in a few videos and always wanted to ride it. it was better than i ever imagined,walls,spines,hips,sparks,curved walls and everyone getting wild. Marcum did a huge wall tap and cased only a little. Dj Dane wild was geting loosing with raditute 180 barspins and crazy lines all over. He's great to watch ride. Smalls was getting nuts with the ice pick variations and smoothest style of any of us,except maybe when sparks trys to fufanu.(hahaha j/k sparks you can fufanu sometimes). Sparks tried a crazy wallride flair, some 180 whips over the spine and some crazy tech tricks over the spine(that just doesnt sound right does it?). Flipper got loose with nosepick whips and tons of other variations that no one under 25 can do. Joey was nosepicking and sighted donig some new tricks around the park.Flipper was quoted on saying "joey is the best fat kid since buddah" im not sure what that means,but im guessing chicks want my tan. so we road there for abit,shot some photos and then we decided to head the party.

The little park next to kink is real tight yet SUPER fun.  Dane was killing each part of it.

with no speed marcum was able to do this wall tap and only hang out a little.

Sparks was close to tailwhip to fakie over the street spine.  next he may have to learn roll backs.

We went to the hotel and got ready and picked up matt berringer and headed to the bar. it was crazy good. We all drank beer on dance comp tab and got loose. Crandal was pissing on peoples leg, joey was pissing off the bar tender,at one point someone climbed up a fire escpae and kicked a fan into someones living room. Allister Whitton challenged Flip to a Death Match game of pool.  The game came down to the last 8ball shot and Flip took the win with a good bank shot.  Flipper doesn't need a bike to beat x-games pros. we spent a good 4 hours there and they RAN OUT OF BEER. whens the last time you were at a bar and they didnt have anything else to serve,they were bone dry,it was halarious. we all took some pictures and then got in our D.Dane mobile and headed back.

Joey Greenwald and Berringer talked about axle nuts and made fun of kenny sanders all night long.

Flip,joey,Sparks,Dane,and Big dave from fbm got side tracked on a pizza mission. none was found but we did find a great restraunt. we all ate and talked about bmx i learned more about the sport in that hour from flip and big dave then i could have imagined. we ate had a good time then headed back once more to the hotel. its now 3:19 and im tired as heck. so far the trip has been amazing and im having a great felling about tomarrow. we have a good chance and crandall is going down, him and his pregnant friend. i think the demo derby is suppose to start around 8ish i belive,so if your within a 4 hour drive,come down and watch,they are going to introduce all the drivers and such it's gonna be a once in a life time thing. well thats all if your in the area email us IBEFLIP@aol.com i think the plan tomarrow (wed) is to ride xdreams and watch the matsparksdeathshow.
