The Headset shim seems like such a minute point, an it kind of is but for someone that wants the most dialed bike possible they can be a blessing. These are designed to be placed between the integrated headsets compression wedge and the dust cover, these shims prevent the dust cover from rubbing on the headtube of the frame preventing any sort of drag.
