tattoos are fun!

yes friends, it was that time again, time for me to add another new graphic to the chasis. i am writing this not to show it off but to show and tell about the shop that does my work and since in the last blog entry we decided that most of you will never see me shirtless (except maybe Angy, the girl in the tight shirt that want's to roll with my posse) no better way to show you the quality of work they do than by letting you all see what i got done last week. the shop is called Electric Superstition and is home to some of the best tattoo artists in the country.

there have been write up's about the shop in various tattoo magazines and even in the last issue of Juxtapoz, the artsy magazine that Thrasher puts out. there are only four artits that work there,
Jime' Litwalk has done all the work on me but i'd let any of them, Jeff, Tony or Tom do some work. there's a guy named Bradde that pierces but i'm not into having giant openings made in me. (and i'll mention Laura, the manager, just cuz she's cute) they are mostly a "custom" shop which is to say that you don't walk in, pick something from the thousands of generic graphics on the walls and leave a half hour later with the same thing hundreds of other people in your town have already gotten. this is the type of place you go to with an idea and let them design something based on that. they have a "walk in guy", Tony, who can get you in and out a little faster but the other guys usually require an appointment. good tattoo shops always have waiting lists so be pateint, remember, this stuff doesn't wear off and the last thing you want is to get a word spelled wrong because you didn't want to wait a week or pay a couple bucks more. if you want something done go in and if you mention my name they'll be extra gentle with you...
just don't ask for Taz in a Piston's jersey or Bart Simpson on a skateboard or they' kick you out onto Woodward Avenue faster than you can say "Aye Carumba".
