S.P.O.T. (Tampa FL.)

After spending the day at the beach on Thursday we decided to have an after hours session at S.P.O.T. (Skatepark of Tampa). Since Stevie and all his ladies left as well as Ron Thomas and his girl left to go to a show in Panama City it was down to us original 6 guys again.

Sean Albright (one of S.P.O.T.'s managers) invited us to come back when the park closed for the night so we could have the park all to ourselves. This also meant that it wouldn't be 423423 degrees while we were riding. I've been to S.P.O.T. a few times in the past and it was always fun but they made A LOT of changes since I'd been there last and it's WAY better. Since I was there last they also took over the building next to theirs and added a small street course as well as a very fun bowl. If you are ever in Tampa be sure to go to S.P.O.T. I can't imagine you would be disappointed. Thanks again to Sean for inviting us to ride after hours.

After we left S.P.O.T. we picked up some Taco Bell and headed back to the room which by this time had two busted beds, a hole in the wall, and was just a mess. Thank God it wasn't on the Albe's credit card or in my name..in fact we aren't sure who's name it was really in...we just knew it was none of ours. Then we were off to Ybor City to check out some bars again. Nothing worth writing about happened but I can say that we came back to the room with one less person and said person didn't get back to our room untill 8:30 am. I'll let your imagination run wild trying to figure out what happened and who it happened to.

We left the room Friday (before the motel people noticed the mass destruction of the room) and we got on I-75 and headed north. We decided to check out "THE PARK" in Ocala FL. as it looked pretty cool when it was in a road fools video. We got there an hour before they opened for the day and decided to sit around and wait untill they opened the gate so we could check it out. By the time we were let in none of us really felt like riding anymore and we decided that if we were to ride it would probably be for less than an hour. we talked to the people running the place and they said we would have to pay full price for a full session. I'm a business man and can understand that they need to make money but we were just not into riding much anyways so we piled back in the van and moved on. we are now once again on I-75 heading north and we are hoping we we'll get good enough weather to ride Louisville KY. as it was raining when we drove by that area on the way down. The plan is to ride Louisville on Sat and then head back to Jen's again Sat night for one last night of fun before heading back to Michigan where I hear they just got a lot of snow!! BLAH!!
