Road Trip Upadte # 5 (Merritt Island)

Its around 1 in the afternoon and everyone is waking up to get there clothes repacked and there spots on the bus cleaned up. I decided last night as we were driving back to spinners to take a brand new JUMBO bag of pretzels and throw them at Flip and all round the bus while everyone was passing out. so me and "Kermit de Frog" Carmicheal did the dirty deed and cleaned the bus up and made it smell like Florida Oranges.
We said our good-byes to Spinner for letting us stay at his house use his shower and rape his Internet connection while we stayed in FL. He even let me do a load of laundry for Christ sake. Big ups to Spinner and every one we said with during our trip. Without cell phones, emails, BMXbrotherhood and the all so mighty hand of MYSPACE.com this trip would have not happened. So thanks to everyone we stayed with!
So we are leaving and fear of not being able to goto the SECRET spot and have enough time to ride the place we opt to skip SPOT skatepark and head to Merrit

We all piled out the bus tired ass hell from the last coupe days on the trip but you could tell the long days and even longer nights were beginning to take the toll on a few in the crew. Squirrel decided to ride 25 miles and go hang out on the beach by himself. Everyone else rode except Kermit de Frog "Carmicheal" As soon as we got out and put our pads on I rode by the fence and who did I see doing some serious shredding on the ramps? Tom Haugen, If you don't know Who Mr. Haugen is or know that his BMX skills render the likeliness round house kick of Chuck Norris please slap yourself in the face in 3 seconds. Tom threw down some amazing stuff in about 5 minutes while we were all just getting used to the ramps heres a run down of some of the destruction. Did about 4 double 360 whips with style, double whip, Huge toothpick to barspin on a 4ft sub while he was myspacing it and he 360 whipped the big spine like he was brushing his teeth. Tom took off just as the crew was getting loose.
Tom Haugen rode HARD for the first 45 Mins we were there and i don't think he put his foot down once.
Flip decided to get on the other side of the lens this stop he was all about riding and using his front breaks, I never have seen flip do a no footed can can but today was the day. Allen Smallz "Smallz" AKA "yo Gotti" AKA "Take a picture Dude" Was completely shredding the place as usual He his one of the diehards of the trip and Always rode fast and was the last to put his bike in the van. At this stop a bus full of ladies showed up to watch and chanted Allan's name until he did a back flip. He did and they went nut. Suchan talked dirty to them and the left. Negative was getting his negatives on "Pictures." Jamie Chalmers also falls into the category, He kills everything, He fufanued a sub with a palm tree in the background that was pretty sweet. Chris K decided to double gap up a waterfall to fufanu the quarter on top of this weird contraption. Danger Debbie and her hoe danger Dave held hands and rode the skate section off to the side for most of the night, I wall slapped a wall above a sub box I thought was rad. Sparx rode but honestly I cant remember what he did, Maybe I should lay off the junk food? Sorry bro I heart you! Dane "DJ" Wild got loose he sure does like riding without his wheels stoppers he did some hang five's, 360s and some high hairs off of the 6 ft quarter. He also got a visit by his girl off of myspace, they shaded off into the bus and he received a glass tube of shells as a present from his mistress.....Bayliss got his tech card from best buy by doing a fufanu to icepick to 360 tail tap to ice pic then chuck norris called and asked to be his friend. Kevin Hubers got his 3ccd filming on and got sunburned doing it. Mr. UPS man Suchan was dazing back in time talking about when he was last there so he decided to do some sweet toothpick grinds outta the quarter to wedge thingy. Carmicheal rode up a ramp then down, Everyone said they were gonna whoop his ass so he got off the bike put on some shades and began commentating along with Squirrel as he showed back up 3 hrs later from the beach. Paul Wall listened to Paul Wall. The locals shredded the place Patrick knew all of the lines and he must of had a frequent flyer miles cause the kid ruled the skies at this place literally 6 ft outta the spine for sure while he did a picture perfect toboggan. He later hung out with us that night too.
People started to stop riding and we started to pack the van up and get a hotel on the beach.
Bayliss seems to rule the street spine anywhere we go. His tricks are so tech that in most cases we can't catch them with still photos. here we got lucky.
Flip came on the trip to make sure everybody had a good time and to shoot photos. He did ride some too and Negative caught it on film this time.
Jamie has ridden so much this week that i bet when we get back he won't be able to walk for a week.
Patrick is a badd ass. He kills the park, is funny as shit, and has jumpped his truck 132 feet before.
Smalls came on this trip just to do back flips for the ladies. Here he looks back to see if they are watching.

This may not look too hard but it's is. up a double roller to icepick the wall on the back of the vert ramp. Steve Burnes is one of the few people to ever do it the locals say.
As we arrived at our hotel after eating Mc Donald's Most of the crew just wanted to chill but the other half including Team5 wanted to get loose. It was too late to go out so we all showered and chilled out side at the bus or the beach, Chris K, Danger Debbie and her boy, Smallz, Kevin and Patrick and his friend also walked on the beach for a couple miles to find some fun, But none was found. Team5 "Every one of age" Chilled at the bus or up in the room. We all stayed up the entire night so we could see the sunrise on the beach, Me and flip probably took some of the best pictures ever during the sunrise it was a sight to remember. A few of the crew fought for the attention of the shady young girls that were picked up on the beach and it seems that Smalls won. He can have that prize. After Taking several rolls of film we all headed back to the hotel except for a few to sleep.
It seems that everywhere we go people ask if we are in a band. Why is that? This does look like some cheasy CD cover though.

We decided to have a Vanilla Ice look A Like contest and Smalls won.
Paul Wall, Kermit de Frog and squirrel thought it was a "bright" idea to lay out on the beach then fall asleep, well it wasn't and they all looked liked they sat in a turbo chef microwave like the ones you see in subway. Room service called and woke us up. We got our stuff packed and in the van quick. We decided to go sight seeing and Walked to Ron Jon's on the beach mingled with some ladies while Flip kept us in line, A shoutout to Pam, I survived on your brownies and your husband is the nicest guy ever, did you know IM your son on this trip? We pretty much just chilled the entire day and was lazy. Dane Wild didn't want to drive so he "found" a way around being asked to drive. If ya know him ask him about his new trick. Right before sunset Patrick went to his house and sold his surfboard to Flip for 4 dollars and some Albes stickers. After he got back Bayliss and Smallz AKA "Yo Gotti" tried to surf and they failed like first place champions. We all watched the sunset and headed back to the Rig.
It's going to be a LONG drive hom for these guys.
After a couple Phone calls another SECRET spot was added to the list so we high tailed it outta Cocoa Beach and we were headed twards our SECRET spot, On the way there about 5 in the mourning I herd a yell then a scream............ "F^ck man the bus is fucked," "whats wrong!?!?!" " I dunno the bus wont go into gear" "OMG!" "Pull over now Kevin "

I told stories and referred to everyone about Team Pimpskie and the Penske van we used to take a trip in. Everyone thought it was cool and neat till they had to pile into one............
A road trip is not complete without a few speed bumps? New Van old trailer and salted attitudes hit the road.
