Tigers game / BMX / BBQ / FBM Video
Craig was booted before the 7th inning stretch.

Well this weekend was a good one. Saturday at 5pm everybody met here at Albe's to pile in the bus to go to the Tigers game. We had 30 people in our group and fun was had by all. 18 of us piled in the bus as a few others drove their on there own. The bus once again proved itself a very useful automobile and the 20 minute drive to the game was a party in itself.

Once at the game a few of the group got a bit rowdy. Once Todd showed up and pretty much had Craig Hienike talked into stripping down and running across the field naked we knew there would be trouble. After causing a bit more ruckus and trying quite hard to get the crowd to chant "BELLY SHIRT" Craig was "ejected" from the game. If he would have made it just one more inning I think Todd could have worked out that master plan. Bummer. The rest of the game was cool, the Tigers won I think and then there were fireworks that were probably better than the game itself.

Elliot Van Orman stopped editing videos long enough to come to the game with us. I think he was even editing some in the bus on the way to the game.

Joey dropped $8 worth of shitty food and i happen to catch it on film. Next time you see him make fun of him.

Marcum decided to beat up Davey for winning the Am Metro Jam this year.

After beating Davey up Marcum wanted to know who was next. Everybody backed down.

Sunday came and we did some stunts on them there BMX bikes. Kris Marcum, Joey Greenwald, Ricky and myself went to check out a new small city park in Auburn Hills. The ramps aren't very big buy quite fun to ride. Joey was flowing around better than most fat kids ever dream to and was coming really close to downside whipping one of the hips. Marcum was jumping the bigger hip there and traveling about 14feet to the landing. Quite impressive. Ricky was doing 360's over the 3' spine and somehow still landing smooth. We met up with Dane Wild and AJ and rode some bank to rail just long enough for Marcum and Dane to do some really cool stuff on it. Dane was over grinding it to back over and Marcum was 60/40 stalling it just in time for us to load back in the bus and go to the Riverbends park. The park was HOT HOT!!! It was probably in the mid 90's and the ramps are BLACK so the session there was pretty mellow. However Marcum did become the first one to fufanu the rail out of the 4'. Many have talked about it, a few have tried it and Marcum got it done. We then loaded up and went back to my house for a BBQ.

We made some calls and about 25 people or so showed up at my house for a quick BBQ before we headed off to TRP (Transition Ramp Park) for the FBM video premier
BBQ's are probably the best part about summer.

Evan (Brawler) came to eat some meat and look at his first photo ever in Dig Magazine. Congrats Evan.

Davey decided to play with my dog Luna in the sprinkler...wait....that better be what he is doing!

Once we got to TRP it was WAY too hot to pile 150 people into the park to watch the video so we set up a 1920's 30" tv in the parking lot on top of the dumpster and watched it in the cool 85 degree summer breeze. The new FBM video has some good stuff in it and will be worth your $20 or so when it becomes available to the public in a week or two.

Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee were at the video premier to make sure no trouble got started.

Another good weekend has passed and summer is flying by. Next weekend will probably be much more crazy as Saturday we are piling into the bus and heading to New York for the Kink Demolition Derby!!!! Wish us luck!!
