It's the middle of July and we are busy beavers here. We have been so busy we even added a few part time fellows to our workforce team.New workforce member# one isCurtis. Curtis does a bit of the grunt work that we either don't have time or are just too lazy to do. Curtis looks like a cross between Steve Crandle and Paul McCartney and is know to be able to do quitea few good stunts on his S&M Warpig. If you see Curtis anywhere be sure to yell "e;CURTIS"e; and give him a high five. New Albe's work force member # two is a fellow nameMitch. Mitch is our bike building bitch. He just got a car and claims that even though he drives now he'll still ride all the time.....we'll see. Mitch also eats more Funyons than anybody ever should. Now that we have some extra hands around hereFlip and Toddhave a little more time to ride and do other fun things. Todd recently went to hang out with the Kink Fellows in Rochester NY and at one point Todd and the owners of Kink were seen tipping astripper that looked like Steve Crandlebut with more tattoos...yes she was a female. Flip has been making appearances at the local parks more often and has also started work on his next Trans Am project. It's only a matter of time before you see Flip Pull up to a skatepark driving a Trans Am with his Kink Freebird in the back seat talking about how he should have never cut hismulletyears ago. The new park at theRiverbends park in Shelby Townshipis up and running. It's a free park and the only real rule is that a helmet must be worn. Bikes are allowed to ride there on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. We do not suggest going on days other than the bike days as the rules are very enforced and you may be shot. There is also anotherfree public park now in Troy Michiganlocated on Civic Center Drive. When we checked it out we noticed the ramps weren't very big and great but would still be a fun place to fool around. The rules sign did list if bikes were allowed but it also didn't list that they weren't so it seems as if they are cool with it.Albe's team riderJosh Steir and his buddy "e;Not from Armada"e; Jameshave been building there own little fun skate / dirt park in James backyard. It's VERY fun to ride. Don't plan to go there though unless you drink the right kind ofbeeror know the secret handshake otherwise you be lynched and killed. Albe's ownGreen Matt Daltonran his hand into the end of a rail doing about 20 MPH on his bike. He didn't break any fingers and after a bunch of super glue he didn't need stitches either. Good thing too because he wants to spend his weekend lowering hisBMW. hahahah!What a yuppie!! Our local JesterRusty Keyswas in the shop the other day to buy his girlfriend a bike. Yep...Rusty has a girlfriend. Crazy thing is she is JUST LIKE HIM but a female. If you Know Rusty you know that can't be good. It will only be a matter of time before they both have black eyes from kicking the crap out of each other.Albe's / Utah ripper Kenny Sanderse-mailed to let us know that the "e;Proving Grounds"e; skate parkin Utah is closing and that that sucks. There are BMX contests happening all the time these days. There are two coming up in the next week or so in Michigan.Aug. 2there is one atAirborne skate park that is a Gravity Games qualifier. From what we are told the winner gets apaid trip to the Gravity Gamesand is entered to ride in the Armature class at the Gravity Games. Flip will even be there judging so if you see him slip him a few bucks and your hot older sisters phone number and maybe it will help your chances.
